Gartner names 30MHz Cool Vendor

30MHz has been named a Cool Vendor in the Gartner’s Cool Vendors in IoT Platforms for Agriculture

In the past year, we’ve more than doubled our customer count.
We’ve committed to agriculture, and learned a great deal about it in the meantime.
The shift to agriculture didn’t really feel like a huge step for us— more like a natural evolution. But from the outside it could indeed be called a pivot.

We pivoted, and most importantly, were accepted by an industry we were… kind of outsiders in. An industry that shared its knowledge, its insights, its expertise and its concerns with us. An industry that’s been willing to figure things out together with us.

IoT, AgTech— they’re fields that are constantly developing. With our customers, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with our product.

Gartner Research recently published a brand new report, Cool Vendors in IoT Platforms for Agriculture.¹ This is the first Cool Vendor report focusing on Agriculture. As Gartner writes, “Agriculture has emerged as one of the most compelling vertical market opportunities for IoT enablement.”²

We’ve seen this first hand— agriculture just understood our technology, its immediate applications, but also its potential. That potential has clear business implications, but it goes a bit further than that.

“Bringing IoT technology to farming not only maximizes farmers’ business success, but also — in some regions — enables growing populations to become or remain adequately fed.”³

Pointing to our pivot, and the link between hardware software and cloud, we are proud to be listed by Gartner as one of three Cool Vendors in this new vertical report. We’re thrilled to hear it, as we strive to make crop level insights accessible to growers of all sizes and levels of digitization
