New feature: day/night filtering
Environmental conditions can vary significantly between day and night, and relying solely on daily averages can sometimes lead to problems. For example, if you’re aiming to maintain an average humidity of 80% in your greenhouse, a daily average of 78.9% might seem acceptable. However, looking at day and night averages separately could help explain specific issues you’re encountering and enables you to gain better insights into factors like plant health and disease risk.
With the new day/night filtering feature, you can instantly track and compare data values between day and night. This allows you to monitor key factors such as:
- The consistency in temperature during day- and nighttime
- Humidity levels during nighttime to avoid potential risks
- Photosynthetic efficiency when there’s no light available, this can be a good indicator of plant health
Interesting? This new feature is visible when creating a new widget where the period is at least 24 hours and/or the interval is at least 1 day. You can display averages, sums, minimum, or maximum values specifically for daytime or nighttime, based on the light hours in your area.
