The Sigrow Stomata Camera uses a crop-centric approach based on direct plant measurement. It measures leaf and fruit temperature inside the greenhouse to reveal real plant stress, condensation risk and energy losses that air-based sensors simply cannot detect.
Most greenhouses still rely on air temperature and humidity to guide climate decisions, but plants do not experience the greenhouse the way sensors do. Microscopic condensation forms on fruit and leaves long before it is visible, and plants close their stomata under stress even when air conditions look optimal. Heating and ventilation decisions based only on air temperature often overshoot what the crop actually needs.
Patented fusion technology combines high-resolution RGB imagery with thermal data in a single device. AI-based image segmentation automatically identifies plant organs, removes background noise and keeps accuracy consistent across crops, growth stages and changing light conditions. Because the system separates fruit from leaf instead of averaging surfaces, it exposes condensation risk, fruit cracking risk and plant stress with far greater precision.
