Last week, we organized a webinar about RTR. What is RTR? On which growing theories is it based? Why do you want to use it? The webinar answers those questions and gives knowledgeable insight into how easily you can develop your own RTR strategy with the 30MHz application. Missed it? No worries, watch the highlight video or rewatch the entire webinar :-).
A perfect balance of the production and consumption of assimilates, leads to steady growth and fruit production. Doesn’t that sound appealing? RTR helps you define and achieve this balance.
A crucial part of your strategy is consistency. When the radiation-temperature ratio varies constantly, you can encounter problems with unbalanced crops. The roots will experience very irregular growth, which can cause problems with nutrient uptake, the pH balance or diseases. The RTR application helps to keep track of your balance over a period of time.
Every team member has access to the application, this makes it a lot easier to be consistent during the growing season. Together you can make data driven decisions on how to spend your resources and learn for example where you can save energy.
