Last month we asked on LinkedIn what technology do you believe will most revolutionize horticulture in the next 5 years. The answers were divided, but we weren’t surprised.
In fact, we foresee that all of these advancements will play a significant role in shaping the future of horticulture and transforming daily operations. From predictive growing to autonomous robotics, we like to refer to the concept of Digital Twins. All technologies mentioned in the poll would fit in the concept of Digital Twins. A digital representation of reality, where computer models mirror every condition inside the greenhouse. This makes it possible to simulate real-time scenarios and predict how changes in the environment and workflow will impact crop performance, yield, and profitability.
Do you think this is feasible in 5 years? Follow us on LinkedIn to participate in the conversation.
